The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Two slips under a jab.
Mediev misses with the combination.
Two is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Mediev.
Mediev fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Two misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mediev moves in looking to clinch but Two pushes him off.
It looked like Two was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Mediev.

Two has closed the distance and engaged Mediev in a clinch.

Two softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mediev wants a takedown.

Mediev goes for a takedown attempt but Two pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Mediev shoots for a double leg takedown but Two sprawls well. He's pushed Mediev's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Two floors Mediev with a big punch on the inside! Mediev is trying to recover but Two dives into side control.
Two sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Mediev is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Two wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mediev keeps working.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Mediev is not content to let Two control the position.
The ground and pound from Two seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Two tries to score with some ground and pound. Mediev controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The strikes coming from Two are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Two wants to control but Mediev is keeping him busy.
