Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rasmus Reedtz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 37 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Miki Viki!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reedtz gets a takedown into half guard.
Reedtz not doing much here.
Viki is trying to stand up here but Reedtz is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reedtz trying to mount his opponent but Viki defends it.
Viki wants to get back to his feet.
We've been hearing that Reedtz has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Reedtz shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Viki is trying to defend but Reedtz finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Reedtz wants to take a breather but Viki is having none of it.

Reedtz is trying to control. Viki wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Reedtz is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Viki sees it coming and defends easily.

Reedtz is looking for a kimura but Viki is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Reedtz to get the leverage.
Viki pushes Reedtz off looking to stand but Reedtz dives back in and keeps control.
Reedtz is nestled in close to Viki, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Reedtz lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Viki wants to stand back up but Reedtz manages to pass into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Reedtz just content to control the position.

Reedtz prevents Viki from escaping the position.
Reedtz cracks Viki with a big elbow.

Reedtz controls the position from side control.
Reedtz scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Viki to see if he's OK.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Reedtz works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Viki is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Reedtz is controlling him well.
Viki is not content to let Reedtz control the position.

Reedtz connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Viki some visible discomfort.
Reedtz prevents Viki from escaping the position.
Reedtz landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Reedtz is chipping away with strikes.
Viki pushes Reedtz away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Reedtz gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Reedtz wants to control but Viki is keeping him busy.
Viki is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Reedtz has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Viki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reedtz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Reedtz steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Viki.
Reedtz takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Reedtz is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Viki can do to turn this around?
Reedtz slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Reedtz dives in and scores a takedown into Viki's guard.
Viki wants to get back to his feet but Reedtz passes into half guard.

Reedtz is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Reedtz looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reedtz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Viki keeps working.
Viki wants to get back to his feet.

Viki is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Reedtz stops Viki from getting back to his feet.
Reedtz drops an elbow to the side of Viki's head.
Nice strikes from Reedtz there.
Reedtz takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Reedtz prevents Viki from standing back up.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Reedtz connects with a nice short shot to Viki's temple.

Viki is rocked!
Reedtz is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Viki is hurt! He's hurt bad - Reedtz fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Viki from any more punishment! Congratulations to Reedtz! Great finish!
