Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Rusev (ranked 385 p4p, 816 weight class) and Loratcho Bradock (ranked 55 p4p, 112 weight class). Bradock has chosen KEVIN O CHRIS - PITBULLZADO as his entrance music. Loratcho Bradock has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alexander Rusev!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Loratcho Bradock!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Kavanagh and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rusev ducks under a wild hook from Bradock.
Rusev takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Rusev moves forwards but Bradock connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Jab, jab by Bradock - just one landing.
Bradock dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nice sprawl there from Bradock as Rusev shoots in.
We've been hearing reports that Rusev has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Bradock keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Bradock misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rusev.
A telegraphed right hand from Bradock misses the target.
Rusev looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bradock is fending him off so far but Rusev persists. Nope, Bradock circles away and we're back to standing.

It looks like Alexander Rusev has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bradock fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rusev looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Rusev gets the takedown into side control.

Rusev tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rusev has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Rusev advances nicely into full mount.
Bradock has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Bradock tries to hold on but Rusev postures up.

Rusev has control of Bradock's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bradock regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Bradock is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Rusev looking for a guillotine from mount but Bradock is having none of it.
Rusev takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Rusev wants to take Bradock's back here but Bradock is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Rusev prevents Bradock from getting the reversal.
Bradock bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Rusev is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rusev has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bradock is working away from the top position though.

Rusev wants to control but Bradock is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Rusev is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bradock defends well.
Bradock stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rusev swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bradock got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rusev has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bradock has managed to get both his arms back between Rusev's legs - danger averted.

Rusev had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bradock defends it easily.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Rusev avoids the head kick by Bradock.
Bradock connects with a right hand. Rusev shakes it off.
Rusev closes the distance and clinches up with Bradock, looking for a takedown. Rusev pushes Bradock against the cage but Bradock circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bradock fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rusev manages to avoid it.
Bradock throws a looping overhand right but Rusev ducks down to avoid it.
Rusev on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Rusev shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Rusev. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bradock tries to bum rush Rusev with a series of wild strikes but Rusev uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bradock is looking to slow Rusev down with leg kicks.
Rusev looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bradock is fending him off so far but Rusev persists. Nope, Bradock circles away and we're back to standing.
Bradock looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Bradock lets loose with a powerful body kick. Rusev will feel that in the morning.
Rusev fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Bradock takes the fight into the clinch.
Bradock lands a hook that snaps the head of Rusev backwards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Bradock.
Bradock lands a good knee to the midsection. Rusev won't want to take too many of those.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bradock will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Rusev up against the cage.

A very excited looking Loratcho Bradock made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
