Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Isopaa Mfer (ranked 1172 p4p, 23587 weight class) and Jonathan Couturier (ranked 42 p4p, 227 weight class). Couturier has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Isopaa Mfer has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mfer connects with a good right hand that stumbles Couturier. Couturier circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like Jonathan Couturier has been cut.
Couturier gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mfer.
Couturier has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Mfer.

I was talking to Mfer's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Mfer lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Couturier backwards.
Couturier is rocked!
Mfer lands a hook to the side of the head.
Couturier is still on wobbly legs! Can Mfer finish him?
That has opened up Jonathan Couturier's cut even more.
Mfer lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Couturier to his knees! Mfer keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
