Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Old Leg Tartakov (ranked 337 p4p, 3043 weight class) and Adu Akin (ranked 57 p4p, 349 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tartakov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Akin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tartakov wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Tartakov definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Tartakov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Tartakov has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Akin is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Tartakov yanks on the arm and Akin is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Tartakov.
