Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tagir Magomedov (ranked 2740 p4p, 2913 weight class) and Giorgos Constantinou (ranked 359 p4p, 380 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Constantinou throws a right hand that misses
and Magomedov counters with a left and a right that stings Constantinou.
Magomedov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Constantinou connects with a body shot.
Magomedov definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Magomedov feints a jab promting Constantinou to slip. Magomedov then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Constantinou slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Magomedov tries to clinch up.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A nice leg kick from Magomedov, right into the meat of the thigh.
Constantinou takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

and Constantinou makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Constantinou lands a nice shot to the body.
Constantinou punishes Magomedov's body with a nice straight punch.
Magomedov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Constantinou sprawls well. Constantinou wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Magomedov gets slowly back to his feet.

Magomedov throws a combination. Constantinou tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Constantinou scores with the left hand. Magomedov knows he should have avoided that one.

Magomedov is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Magomedov walks straight into a right hand from Constantinou - that's dropped him! Constantinou jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Magomedov from any more punishment! Magomedov complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
