Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, KJ Hoodwell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Way Nada!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Nada.
Hoodwell seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Hoodwell shoots for a takedown but Nada saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hoodwell dives in for a single leg takedown but Nada sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Nada is trying to counter with his kicks.
Hoodwell breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hoodwell defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nada.
Hoodwell lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hoodwell moves into the clinch.
Nada tries for a takedown. No joy.
KJ Hoodwell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Way Nada.
Hoodwell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Hoodwell has cracked Nada with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Hoodwell lands another huge swinging hook and Nada tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Nada, before Hoodwell can land any more shots!
