Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Hazlehurst (ranked 19941 p4p, 2936 weight class) and Luca Meuneix (ranked 0 p4p, 393 weight class). Hazlehurst comes into the arena with Queen - One Vision blaring out of the sound system. Meuneix has chosen Paul Hertzog - Kumite as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Luca Meuneix will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hazlehurst keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Meuneix.
Meuneix throws a hook but Hazlehurst blocks it.
Hazlehurst swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Hazlehurst decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Hazlehurst wants to pass to mount but Meuneix is defending the position.
Meuneix taking some punishment here, with Hazlehurst in his half guard.
Hazlehurst is controlling the pace.
Hazlehurst not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hazlehurst seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Meuneix is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hazlehurst scores with a couple of nice shots.
Hazlehurst takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Hazlehurst has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Meuneix defend it? Hazlehurst steps over the head and cranks it - Meuneix is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hazlehurst!
