The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Scott avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nice takedown defense from Scott. No joy for Bar on that attempt.
Scott feinted with a counter takedown.

Bar gets caught napping as Scott dives in and scores a takedown. Bar manages to retain guard.

Bar drops back, looking for a kneebar! Scott looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Scott looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Scott!

Bar is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Scott off and has taken his back!

Bar has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Scott has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Scott breaks Bar's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Bar looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Scott puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Bar is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Scott.

Scott looking to break Bar's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Bar remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Scott will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Scott manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bar manages to get himself to full guard.

Scott is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Bar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Scott doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Scott manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Scott is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bar doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Scott.

Bar tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Scott wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Bar seems a little lost for a moment, as Scott dominates the positioning.

Scott has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Bar is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Scott yanks on the arm and Bar is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Scott.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Tyron Scott!
Tyron Scott tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
