Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between My Girl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastien Linne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Girl comes into the arena with My Girl blaring out of the sound system. Linne has chosen Arcturus - The Chaos Path as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linne drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Girl can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Linne controls the pace.
Linne is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Linne postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Girl is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Linne, into his guard.
Linne is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Linne is looking for a triangle but Girl pushes his legs off easily.
Girl drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Girl jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Linne controls Girl momentarily but Girl frees himself.

Linne bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Girl's guard.
Linne passes Girl's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Linne looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Linne thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Girl's head.
Linne is looking for a kimura but Girl is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Linne to get the leverage.

Linne wants to take a breather but Girl is having none of it.

Linne is just content to waste time from the top position. Girl takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Linne has gone for a leg lock! Girl slips out almost immediately though and dives into Linne's guard.
Girl drops back looking for a leg! Linne is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Linne manages to kick Girl off! Girl jumps back into Linne's guard.
Linne wants to sweep but no luck.

Girl utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Linne seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Linne has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
