The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Diego there.
No joy there for Rolls, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Diego let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Rolls with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Diego throws a shot from downtown. Rolls moves away and avoids it.
Rolls is looking to counter the offense by Diego and move into the clinch.
Diego pivots, looking for a leg kick but Rolls is out of range and Diego settles back down.
Diego is looking to chop away at Rolls's legs.
Nice uppercut there from Diego.
Diego throws a solid leg kick but Rolls takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Diego.
Rolls throws a body punch but Diego moves out of range.
Diego lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Rolls takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Diego jabs Rolls to the body, keeping him at a distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rolls uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Diego.

Diego forces Rolls back against the cage and clinches.
Rolls lands with a left to the head.

Rolls pulls guard.

Diego stands up from Rolls's guard - Diego perhaps looking for a knockout.
Diego misses with a looping left.
Rolls misses with an uppercut
and Diego makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Sam Diego is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Diego throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Diego is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Diego is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rolls.
Diego fails to land with a series of punches.
Rolls keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Diego tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rolls was well out of range. Poor timing from Diego.
Diego misses with a jab to the body
and Rolls counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Sam Diego has been cut.

Rolls clinches up against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Rolls scores with a nice short uppercut.
Diego presses Rolls against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Diego lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Rolls throws a punch but it's blocked by Diego.

Rolls breaks from the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rolls throws an off balance right hand
and Diego counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Rolls connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Diego's hands.
Diego connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Rolls on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Diego throws a body shot but no joy.
A quick step to the side and Rolls tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rolls lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Diego is looking to close the distance but Rolls sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Diego crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Diego is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
