Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pacho Hererra (ranked 3893 p4p, 2452 weight class) and Scott Armstrong (ranked 370 p4p, 253 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pacho Hererra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scott Armstrong! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Armstrong lands a jab to Hererra's midsection. Armstrong looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Hererra fails with a takedown attempt. Hererra takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Armstrong will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hererra darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hererra is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Hererra is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Armstrong is just riding it out for now. Hererra eventually gives up the hold.
That's one minute gone in the round. Armstrong wants to get back to full guard. Armstrong has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hererra is working away from the top position though. Hererra is looking for a kimura here.
Hererra is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Armstrong is just riding it out for now. Hererra eventually gives up the hold. Hererra wants to lay and pray for a moment but Armstrong keeps working. Hererra is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Armstrong is trying to get back to full guard. Armstrong really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hererra. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hererra is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Armstrong sees it coming and defends easily. Hererra is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Armstrong doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hererra. Hererra is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Armstrong is just riding it out for now. Hererra eventually gives up the hold. Hererra wants to control but Armstrong is keeping him busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hererra is taking a breather. Armstrong says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Hererra wants to work for an arm triangle but Armstrong is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Armstrong is trying to get back to full guard. Armstrong is trying to control but can't.
Hererra is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
