The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Forty Seven looks to land a left hand but Millar moved out of range nicely. Forty Seven ducks under a wild hook from Millar. Millar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Forty Seven throws a series of punches but Millar moves out of range. Forty Seven throws a right and a left that Millar avoids nicely. Millar shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Forty Seven sprawls well. Forty Seven wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Millar gets slowly back to his feet. Forty Seven moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Kala Forty Seven seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Forty Seven throws a right and a left that both miss. A telegraphed right hand from Forty Seven misses the target. Millar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Forty Seven tries to avoid it but Millar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Forty Seven to the ground. Forty Seven stuffs the takedown. Forty Seven defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Millar. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Millar with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Forty Seven to score with a decent uppercut. The fighters circling - Forty Seven throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
