The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamrock looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Shamrock lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Grigorian circles away quickly and effectively.
Shamrock connects with a body shot that sends Grigorian's belly button to the back.
Shamrock throws a big shot that misses.
Shamrock moves forwards but Grigorian connects with a nice, crisp jab.

It looks like Stan Shamrock has been cut.
Grigorian uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shamrock.
Grigorian slips a jab and a cross from Shamrock.
Shamrock moves into range and connects with a jab.
A shot to the liver by Shamrock. Beautiful body shot.
Shamrock throws a lazy uppercut
and Grigorian counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Shamrock misses with a looping left.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd cheers as Shamrock lands an impressive looking overhand right. Grigorian doesn't seem phased though.
Stan Shamrock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Grigorian counters with a straight right hand.
Shamrock shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Grigorian eats them both and turns towards Shamrock to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Shamrock lands a head shot.

Grigorian is rocked!

A little jabbing left from Grigorian on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Grigorian is still on wobbly legs! Can Shamrock finish him?
Grigorian moves away from the strike by Shamrock.
Grigorian misses with a series of wild punches.
Grigorian walks straight into a right hand from Shamrock - that's dropped him! Shamrock jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Grigorian from any more punishment! Grigorian complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
