Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between A. Mere Con (ranked 563 p4p, 529 weight class) and Seemah Feet (ranked 79 p4p, 72 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Feet's choice of entrance music: Footsteps (Go Higher). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, A. Mere Con!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Seemah Feet!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Con cracks Feet with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Feet throws a head kick that misses.
Con swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and Feet counters with an inside leg kick.
Feet slips under a jab.

Con looks to land a combination. Feet sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Con throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Feet stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Con throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Con lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Con sets himself, and Feet steps forward looking for the clinch! Con avoids it this time.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Con's jab looks to have found its range, popping Feet under the eye.
Con lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Con throws out a loose jab but Feet uses good head movement to avoid it.
It seemed like Feet was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Con scores with a crisp jab that stopped Feet in his tracks.
The fighters circling - Con throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Feet appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Feet might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Con has got the better of the exchanges.
Con stalks Feet and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Feet's face. Feet staggers backwards, shaken.

Con is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Feet lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Con has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Con and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to A. Mere Con.
Well Con has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
