Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pouliot walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Jones is looking to pass into half guard but Pouliot pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Pouliot is in guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Pouliot seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jones does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pouliot is working away from the top position though.

Pouliot looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jones with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Jones is positioning himself well to prevent Pouliot advancing to mount.

Pouliot winds up and cracks Jones with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Jones is bucking up trying to escape but Pouliot cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Pouliot! Jones is hurt baaadly! Pouliot is firing away with more strikes - Jones is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
