Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alessio Ricci (ranked 2786 p4p, 3133 weight class) and Terrell Damian (ranked 276 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alessio Ricci!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Terrell Damian!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damian fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ricci manages to avoid it.
Damian lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Damian has closed the distance and engaged Ricci in a clinch.
Ricci tries to pull guard but Damian holds him up against the cage and eventually Ricci drops back down to his feet.
Damian throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Riccis head.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Damian.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Damian.
Ricci tries to pull guard but Damian won't allow it.
Damian lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Ricci jumps guard but Damian stands there with Ricci around his waist. Ricci gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alessio Ricci. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Damian has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Ricci to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Damian is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Ricci pulls down on the head and he's put Damian to sleep! This one is all over!
