Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jules Ann (ranked 3810 p4p, 5675 weight class) and Bobby Brix (ranked 495 p4p, 592 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jules Ann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Brix!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brix moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Ann stalks Brix and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Brix's face. Brix staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Bobby Brix has been cut.

Ann clinches with his opponent.
Brix tries to break the clinch but Ann is controlling the position.

Ann escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ann avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ann feints a jab promting Brix to slip. Ann then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Brix slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Brix ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ann moves away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brix scores with a sloppy right hand. Ann should have avoided that one.
Brix misses the shot to the body.
Brix falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ann counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Brix misses with an uppercut
and Ann counters with a two punch combo.
Brix thows a left - swing and a miss!
Ann is looking to counter the offense by Brix and move into the clinch.
Brix misses with a hook
letting Ann counter with a right hand.

Brix is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ann connects with a nice cross there... Brix is looking wobbly and Ann recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Brix to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Ann jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

In his post fight interview, Jules Ann started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
