The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Pousa clinches.
Pousa has hold of one of Bobby's legs. Bobby is fighting the takedown attempt but Pousa gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Bobby (0) vs (2) Pousa
Pousa slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Pousa wants to control from the top but Bobby keeps moving.

Bobby really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bobby working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pousa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pousa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bobby wants to sweep here but Pousa controlling him for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pousa is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Bobby looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bobby escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pousa gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Pousa drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bobby manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pousa has Bobby in his guard. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Bobby (2) vs (2) Pousa

Bobby tries to free his leg and advance position but Pousa is retaining full guard.

Bobby thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Bobby trying to control the position from guard on top but Pousa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Pousa has his foot on Bobby's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bobby works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Pousa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bobby can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
