Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matheus Ayricke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and john rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). rock has chosen my god as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. john rock has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ayricke swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
rock uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ayricke.
The fighters circling - Ayricke throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Ayricke throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
rock shoots for a takedown but Ayricke saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
rock uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ayricke.
rock tries for a takedown but Ayricke sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ayricke throws a hook to the side of rock's head but rock sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
rock tries to clinch there but Ayricke circles away.
rock steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ayricke.
rock shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ayricke but Ayricke pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Matheus Ayricke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of john rock.
rock will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

rock shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ayricke as he avoids it easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ayricke lands a nice shot that snaps rock's head back.
Ayricke looks to land a right hand but rock moved out of range.

rock shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ayricke as he avoids it easily.

Ayricke dances in with a quick combination. rock is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Ayricke snaps rock's head back. rock stumbles backwards against the cage. Ayricke steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with rock's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. rock just didn't come prepared.
