Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Renato Sobral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lank Antunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lank Antunes!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antunes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sobral circles away.
Sobral shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Antunes but Antunes pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Antunes misses with a takedown
and Sobral counters by clinching up.
Antunes has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sobral is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Renato Sobral has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lank Antunes.
Antunes tries for a takedown but Sobral manages to get underhooks.
Antunes wants a takedown.
Antunes fails to pull guard.
Antunes jumps guard and drags Sobral to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Sobral is pushing down on Antunes's leg trying to pass to half guard. Antunes is fighting to maintain full guard but Sobral has managed to sneak the leg through.
Antunes is trying to maintain the position but Sobral is very close to passing his half guard.
Sobral tries to pass the half guard into mount. Antunes knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Antunes tries to get to full guard but Sobral has control of the leg.
Sobral is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Sobral is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Sobral scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Antunes is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Sobral jumps into side control!
Sobral wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Antunes, who protects the arm well.
Sobral tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
A control attempt from Antunes but he's now mounted!
Sobral working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Antunes tries to hold on but Sobral postures up.
Antunes keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Sobral moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Antunes has worked his arm free - good work by Antunes!
Sobral is breathing heavily.
Antunes tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Sobral controlling from mount.
Antunes keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Sobral avoids the attempt from Antunes to control.
Sobral trying to control but Antunes is having none of it.
Sobral looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Antunes tries to reverse the position but Sobral maintains control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Antunes slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Antunes wants to get back to full guard.
Sobral is trying for a kimura here. Antunes looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Sobral wins by kimura!
