Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matti Lautakasa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Terrel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lautakasa has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Matti Lautakasa looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Matti Lautakasa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tyson Terrel! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Terrel feints and as Lautakasa raises his hands in defense, Terrel changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Lautakasa looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Terrel wants to pass the guard but Lautakasa is keeping the position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Terrel's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Terrel decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Terrel scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Terrel cracks Lautakasa with a big elbow. Terrel remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Terrel thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Terrel landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Terrel tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Terrel has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Terrel stands up.

Terrel has Lautakasa pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Terrel pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lautakasa tumbling to the mat - Terrel dives into Lautakasa's guard. Terrel sitting in guard here, content to control. Terrel with a flurry of punches that miss. Terrel must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Terrel trying to stand up but can't free himself from Lautakasa's guard. Terrel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lautakasa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Terrel drops back looking for a leg! Lautakasa is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lautakasa manages to kick Terrel off! Terrel jumps back into Lautakasa's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Terrel gets to his feet. Lautakasa looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Terrel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lautakasa as he jumps to the side. Lautakasa misses with a takedown attempt and Terrel counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lautakasa won't be happy with that. This has been an exciting period of action! Lautakasa tries to buck Terrel off but Terrel is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lautakasa can't do much from the bottom here. Lautakasa is looking for a sweep. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Lautakasa struggling a bit here. Terrel cracks Lautakasa with an elbow. That is naaassty.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lautakasa wants to control but Terrel postures up. Lautakasa tries to buck Terrel off but Terrel is having none of it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Terrel bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Lautakasa tries to buck Terrel off but Terrel is having none of it. Lautakasa is trying to control Terrel's posture but Terrel avoids it. Lautakasa is trying to improve his position. Lautakasa stops Terrel from passing to mount. Terrel thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Lautakasa wants to control but Terrel postures up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Terrel with a lazy takedown attempt and Lautakasa counters with a nice double leg into side control. Terrel won't be happy with that. Lautakasa trying to control the position but Terrel is working away. Terrel is looking for a sweep. Terrel keeping his opponent close. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lautakasa looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyson Terrel dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Terrel closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Terrel tries for a takedown. No joy.
Terrel has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Lautakasa regains guard immediately. Lautakasa keeping full guard, as Terrel tries to pass. Terrel is looking to stand up but Lautakasa won't let him. Lautakasa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Terrel can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Terrel is in close to Lautakasa's body, working some short punches and elbows. Lautakasa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Terrel doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Terrel manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Terrel trying to control the position from guard on top but Lautakasa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Terrel stands up and waves to Lautakasa to follow him. Terrel tries for a takedown but Lautakasa circles away easily and Lautakasa counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Terrel looks like he's trying to stand up.
Tyson Terrel has got the better of the ground game so far. Lautakasa working the head and body with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lautakasa is trying to control the action in half guard but Terrel is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Lautakasa is working for a kimura but Terrel is defending it quite comfortably.
Terrel is staying active underneath Lautakasa, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

That's going to take a lot out of Tyson Terrel. Terrel looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Terrel slips nicely into half guard. Lautakasa looking for submissions off his back. Terrel trying to control from half guard but Lautakasa is working away. Terrel is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lautakasa uses from the top position. Terrel keeping full guard, as Lautakasa tries to pass. Terrel keeping moving, preventing Lautakasa from controlling successfully. Lautakasa is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Terrel is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Terrel is looking to stand up but Lautakasa isn't so interested in that idea. Lautakasa avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Lautakasa stays in close to Terrel's body and controls the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lautakasa pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Terrel is keeping the position for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyson Terrel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Lautakasa's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Matti Lautakasa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Terrel wants to get back to his feet but Lautakasa is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Lautakasa pushes down on Terrel's leg and manages to get into half guard. Terrel is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lautakasa's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lautakasa's back! Terrel connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Lautakasa to escape the position.
Lautakasa trying to control the hands but Terrel won't let him. Terrel scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Tyson Terrel. I've got Terrel winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
