The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sotoropoulis lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Peeples throws an off balance right hand
and Sotoropoulis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Peeples misses with a takedown
and Peeples takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Peeples misses with a left hand
and Sotoropoulis counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

and Sotoropoulis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Kawonn Peeples has been cut.

and Sotoropoulis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nice straight punches there by Sotoropoulis. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sotoropoulis.
A jab lands there for Peeples.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sotoropoulis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Peeples throws out a powerful jab.
Peeples swings away with a body shot that misses
and Sotoropoulis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Peeples stuns Sotoropoulis with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Oh Peeples is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Sotoropoulis counters with a nice uppercut.

Peeples seems to have got his legs back now.
We've been told by Peeples's head coaches at Canadian Combat Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Sotoropoulis moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Peeples throws a lazy uppercut
and Sotoropoulis scores with a counter punch that sends Peeples to the canvas! Sotoropoulis smells blood - he's punishing Peeples with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Peeples has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
