Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Donovan Wilcox (ranked 2168 p4p, 24832 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Donovan Wilcox has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Donovan Wilcox seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Wilcox does it's job there.
Buut takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Buut on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Buut walks into a jab.
We've been hearing reports that Wilcox has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Wilcox throws a series of strikes that have Buut backpedaling.
Buut shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wilcox with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Wilcox shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Buut's guard.
Wilcox stands and throws Buut's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Wilcox is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Buut knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Wilcox is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Buut is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Wilcox is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Buut looks calm but he's in trouble here. Wilcox gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Buut is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Wilcox lets go of the hold and Buut can pop his arm back in it's socket.
