And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryant Smith!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Chris Dean and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christ throws a jab but it's blocked by Smith.
Smith throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Christ's head.

It looks like Johan Christ has been cut.
Smith scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Christ avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Smith scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Smith loads up on a big right hand but Christ slips the punch.
Smith keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Christ.
Christ uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Smith.
Smith moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Smith takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Christ looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Christ walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smith chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Smith moves out of range of the strikes.
Smith fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Smith cracks Christ with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Smith tries to land a body kick
and Christ connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Smith pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Smith throws a body kick that misses.
Smith is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Smith fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Christ checks it well.
Christ is looking to counter punch.
Smith looks to throw a body kick

and Christ counters with a nice right hand that sends Smith toppling to the canvas! Smith scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Christ finish him?!

Smith is rocked!
Smith is holding his hands too far apart here. Christ throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Smith is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
