Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sanderlei Bitetti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robert Mohan!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bitetti connects with a nice looking jab.
Mohan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bitetti to score with a decent uppercut.
Bitetti connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mohan momentarily.
Mohan dives in for a single leg takedown but Bitetti sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
It looked like Bitetti wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Bitetti throws a hook but Mohan avoids it easily.
Mohan is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Bitetti with a body shot.
Mohan slips under a jab from Bitetti.
Bitetti looks to land a right hand but Mohan moved out of range.
Mohan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bitetti lands a big uppercut and Mohan crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mohan looks OK. Bitetti waves Mohan back to his feet!
Mohan is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bitetti scores with a hook to the body. Mohan takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Mohan gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Bitetti gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Mohan is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sanderlei Bitetti!
