Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kalvin Krooks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Dylan Sydal!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sydal throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Krooks counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Dylan Sydal has been cut.
Sydal tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
It looked like Krooks was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Krooks throws out a powerful jab.
A big right from Krooks misses.
Sydal misses with a series of wild punches.
Sydal dives in and grabs Krooks's left leg, looking for a takedown. Krooks pushes down on Sydal's head and hops out.
Sydal thows a leg kick but Krooks checks it
enabling Krooks to counter with a crisp jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sydal misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Krooks wants to clinch up but Sydal keeps it at a distance.
Krooks cracks Sydal with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Krooks has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Sydal to stand back up!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Krooks lands a brutal uppercut that launches Sydal off his feet! Sydal tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kalvin Krooks!
