Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Steff Reoerc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Michael Breno!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Breno tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Reoerc swivels and escapes.
Breno goes for a double leg but Reoerc avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Reoerc continues to drive forward.
Breno fails to land the takedown.
Reoerc is looking to counter punch.
Steff Reoerc has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Breno.

Reoerc is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Breno shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Breno is taking a breather. Reoerc says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Breno perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Breno's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
It looks like Breno might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Reoerc lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Steff Reoerc is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Reoerc scores with a jab to the jaw.
Breno looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Reoerc is fending him off so far but Breno persists. Nope, Reoerc circles away and we're back to standing.

Horrible takedown attempt by Breno or perhaps it was just good defense by Reoerc, which made it look bad.
Breno fails to land the takedown.
Reoerc was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Breno shoots in looking for a takedown. Reoerc tries to sprawl out of it but Breno keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Reoerc manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Reoerc was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Steff Reoerc dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Reoerc is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Breno can do to turn this around?

Breno bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Breno is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Reoerc will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Reoerc is looking to reverse the position.
Breno has an Americana. Reoerc didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Breno is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Breno hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
