Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Walter Wiener (ranked 2915 p4p, 3176 weight class) and Francisco Babyara (ranked 96 p4p, 130 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walter Wiener!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 32 - 0, fighting out of London, Francisco Babyara!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiener slips a jab and a cross from Babyara.
Babyara darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Babyara misses with an uppercut
and Wiener counters with a leg kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Wiener.
Wiener throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Francisco Babyara has been cut.
Babyara throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Babyara jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Babyara throws a predictable looking body shot
and Wiener makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Wiener really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Babyara takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Babyara throws a sloppy body shot
and Wiener counters with a nice body kick.

Wiener scores with a spinning back kick!

Wiener misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Babyara.
Babyara wants to counter the offense by Wiener and move into the clinch position.
Babyara blocks a head kick by Wiener.
Wiener throws the kick towards the body but Babyara avoids it.
Babyara misses the body punch
and Wiener counters with a series of strikes. Babyara will be more careful next time no doubt.
No joy there for Babyara, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A cross from Babyara lands.
Wiener tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A left lands for Babyara.
Wiener connects with a leg kick.
Wiener misses with a jab to the body

and Babyara counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Babyara stops Wiener from getting back to his feet.

Babyara decides to stand up.
Wiener steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Babyara.
Babyara lands a jab to Wiener's midsection.
Crunch! Wiener slams his shin into Babyara's torso.
Wiener throws a sloppy head kick and Babyara moves out of range easily.
Babyara swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wiener explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Wiener misses with a head kick.
Babyara takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Babyara throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wiener uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Babyara.
Wiener lands with a nice body kick.
Wiener scores with a nice body kick.
Wiener is looking to land body kicks.
Wiener scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Babyara, as that shot connected.
Babyara takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Babyara throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Wiener slips a jab and a cross from Babyara.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Babyara crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wiener - the referee stops the clock and Babyara gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wiener. Babyara manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Babyara misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wiener scores with a kick to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wiener lands with a kick to the ribs.
Wiener looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Wiener. Babyara shrugs it off though.
Wiener tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Babyara doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Wiener lands a big head kick that sends Babyara tumbling to the mat! Wiener takes a step backwards and waves Babyara back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Babyara is rocked!
Wiener feints a jab and as Babyara dips his head, Wiener unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Babyara right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Babyara falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Wiener smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Walter Wiener!
After winning the bout, Walter Wiener thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
