Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Riker (ranked 296 p4p, 381 weight class) and Mike Haggar (ranked 41 p4p, 60 weight class). Riker comes to the cage accompanied by In The Summertime. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Riker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 24 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Haggar! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riker takes one to the chin there. Haggar throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Riker sees it coming and avoids it easily. Riker throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Riker definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Riker uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Haggar. A counter left hand to the body from Riker misses its target. Jab from Riker. Haggar closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Haggar lands in his opponent's guard. Haggar missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Haggar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Riker keeping full guard, as Haggar tries to pass. Riker preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Haggar wants to control from the top but Riker keeps moving. Haggar throws a strike but Riker rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Riker stops Haggar from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Haggar looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Haggar looking to control but Riker passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Haggar wants to get back to full guard but Riker has passed into side control. Riker working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Haggar is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Riker's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Riker lands strikes from half guard. Riker throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Riker drops an elbow to the side of Haggar's head. Riker is just content to waste time from the top position. Haggar takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Riker wants to pass the guard but Haggar is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Riker postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Haggar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Riker is one step ahead there. Haggar looking to control.
Riker is working Haggar over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Haggar is trying to hold Riker in close to prevent damage but Riker has managed to pass into half guard.
Riker is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Riker passes to side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Riker working the head and body with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Haggar is looking for a sweep. Haggar tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Riker presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Haggar can't escape the position.
Riker wants to control the pace but Haggar is squirming around nicely. Haggar is in all sorts of trouble here.
Haggar is squirming around, avoiding Riker's attempts to control the action. Haggar has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Haggar can't escape the position.
Haggar keeps trying to improve his position. Riker unloading with bombs! Riker in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Haggar keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Riker trying to control but Haggar is having none of it. Riker pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Haggar is desperately trying to improve his position but Riker has a good base and remains in mount. Riker fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
This has been an exciting period of action! Riker cracks Haggar with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). William Riker! A relieved looking William Riker thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
