The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stanley keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Stanley lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Johan Nilsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nilsson shoots in but Stanley avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nilsson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johan Nilsson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stanley bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Stanley tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nilsson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Nilsson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nilsson wants to control the pace but Stanley is squirming around nicely.
Nilsson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Stanley's face.

Nilsson unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Stanley wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Nilsson celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
