Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Radio Philips (ranked 715 p4p, 1529 weight class) and Horace Cuba (ranked 103 p4p, 209 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 22 - 19 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Radio Philips! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 24 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Horace Cuba! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big left from Philips misses. Cuba now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Philips blocks a jab. Philips looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Philips throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cuba stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Philips connects with a solid leg kick. Radio Philips seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Philips throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Cuba counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Philips connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Cuba momentarily.
It looks like Horace Cuba has been cut. Philips with the inside leg kick. Cuba tries to clinch but Philips is having none of it. Philips was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Philips moves away from the strike by Cuba. Philips throws a nice looking combination but Cuba bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Philips throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cuba. Cuba moves out of range of the leg kick from Philips.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cuba misses with a hook to the body
and Philips counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Philips throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. A looping hook to the body misses from Philips. Cuba does a little dance to reset his feet. Cuba takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Cuba will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sloppy strikes from Philips. Those never looked like landing. Cuba shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Philips as he avoids it easily. Philips misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cuba tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Philips goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Cuba throws a looping overhand right but Philips ducks down to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Philips loads up on a big right hand but Cuba slips the punch. Cuba avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cuba is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Philips throws a quick inside leg kick. Nice body punch from Philips. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Philips checks the leg kick nicely there.
Cuba throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Philips pivots, looking for a leg kick but Cuba is out of range and Philips settles back down. Philips blocks a jab. Cuba falls off balance throwing a combination
and Philips counters with a good, hard body kick but Cuba shrugs it off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A left and a right from Cuba both land. Nice combination. Philips lands a nice hook to Cuba's body. Cuba takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. A good leg kick by Philips. Philips lands with a shot to the body. Philips looks to score with a jab to the body but Cuba is just out of range. And Cuba tries to counter it with a takedown but Philips pushes his down on his head and steps out. Cuba avoids a kick to the body.
Cuba tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Philips paws at him with a jab and circles away. Philips throws a leg kick but Cuba sees it coming and moves out of range. Cuba misses with a wild body shot. Philips swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Cuba counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Philips is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Cuba dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Philips is looking to get back to his feet here but Cuba is keeping cool and he's managed to take Philips's back. Cuba biding his time, controlling Philips. Philips is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Philips is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Cuba.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Radio Philips dominated that round. The cut man is working on Horace Cuba's cut. That's time! Philips's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Cuba throws a leg kick and Philips counters with a nice leg kick. Radio Philips is winning the standup battle so far. Cuba dodges the punch combination from Philips.
A little jabbing left from Cuba on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Philips changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Cuba gets in close and instigates a clinch. Cuba taking a breather. Philips lands a body punch. Cuba trying to control the position but instead, Philips has worked for underhooks and has pushed Cuba into the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cuba wants a takedown but no success here.
Philips breaks the clinch.
Philips connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Philips keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Philips appears to be looking for a big counter. Radio Philips is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Cuba looks to land a left hand but Philips moved out of range nicely. A low kick from Cuba misses and Philips counters with a lovely straight right hand! Cuba takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Cuba gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Philips gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Radio Philips! An out of breath Radio Philips thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
