Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Hall (ranked 1677 p4p, 3062 weight class) and Oscar Meyer (ranked 70 p4p, 122 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charlie Hall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 38 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oscar Meyer! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Hall. Those never looked like landing. Hall slips under a jab from Meyer. Meyer is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hall sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Hall. Hall throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Meyer has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Hall misses with a hook. A telegraphed right hand from Hall misses the target. Hall throws a body shot but no joy. A low kick from Hall misses and Meyer counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Meyer. Hall pushes Meyer back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. I was talking to Hall's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. A frustrated look appears on Hall's face as he tries to break the clinch. Hall breaks the clinch.
Hall loads up on a big right hand but Meyer slips the punch. Hall rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Meyer counters with a lovely straight right hand! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hall darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Hall misses with a hook to the body
and Meyer counters by moving into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hall breaks the clinch.
Hall throws a right and a left that Meyer avoids nicely. And Meyer tries to counter it with a takedown but Hall pushes his down on his head and steps out. Hall misses the jab. Hall keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Crunch! Hall slams his shin into Meyer's torso. A jab from Hall finds it's way through Meyer's defenses. A telegraphed right hand from Hall misses the target. Jab by Hall. Meyer lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hall at a distance.
Meyer ducks right into an uppercut from Hall. Meyer fails to land the takedown. Meyer closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Hall moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Meyer goes down! Can Hall finish him!?
Meyer is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hall drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Hall as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Meyer screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Hall! Nice submission victory there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Charlie Hall! Charlie Hall bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
