Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mirko Filipovic has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown swats away the attempt to clinch by Filipovic.
Filipovic shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brown as he jumps to the side.
Filipovic tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brown swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Filipovic shoots in for a double leg but Brown sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Brown steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Filipovic. That one must have hurt.
Brown feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Brown really is a fat lump.
Brown stands and steps away. Filipovic gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Horrible takedown by Filipovic or perhaps it was just good defense by Brown which made him look bad.

Brown bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Filipovic's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Brown will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Brown looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Filipovic is avoiding damage well.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Filipovic fails with an attempt to clinch.
Filipovic stuffs the takedown attempt from Brown. Brown gets slowly back to his feet.
Filipovic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brown tries to avoid it but Filipovic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brown to the ground. Brown escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Brown, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
