Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Karsten Koererlaerer (ranked 2785 p4p, 3286 weight class) and Pull Plugger (ranked 280 p4p, 320 weight class). Pull Plugger has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Karsten Koererlaerer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Pull Plugger! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plugger shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Koererlaerer pushes Plugger off and gets back to his feet. Koererlaerer looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Koererlaerer's corner. There ya go! There ya go! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Plugger escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Koererlaerer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Koererlaerer is looking to work some ground and pound but Plugger has wrist control. Plugger is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Koererlaerer is aware though and is defending well. Plugger is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Koererlaerer is in close to Plugger's body, working some short punches and elbows.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Koererlaerer connects with a nice short shot to Plugger's temple. Koererlaerer seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Plugger is looking to control Koererlaerer's leg but it's slowly edging free. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Koererlaerer lands a nice short elbow. Plugger wants to get back to full guard. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Koererlaerer working Plugger over with strikes. Plugger is holding on for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Plugger actively working from the bottom here.

Koererlaerer is pressing down on Plugger's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Plugger engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Plugger postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Koererlaerer controlling Plugger's posture. Plugger looking to sit in guard and control but Koererlaerer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Plugger controls Koererlaerer momentarily but Koererlaerer frees himself. Pull Plugger has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Koererlaerer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Plugger working for a triangle but Koererlaerer defends it easily.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Pull Plugger. Well Koererlaerer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
