Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and KT McMahon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thomas Power! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, KT McMahon! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Power drives through with a takedown into guard. McMahon is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Power prevents McMahon from getting back to his feet. Power is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! McMahon is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! McMahon has escaped and now he's on top! McMahon trying to control the position from guard on top but Power is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Power has a closed guard, preventing McMahon from standing up. McMahon trying to control but Power is working from the bottom. Power working a defensive guard here.
Power is looking for a triangle but McMahon pushes his legs off easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Power keeping full guard, as McMahon tries to pass. Power pulls McMahon in close to prevent any damage. McMahon tries to free his leg and advance position but Power is retaining full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Power misses with a straight left. Power throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Power looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Power fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
McMahon scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Power trying to control but McMahon postures up.
McMahon is looking to take a break and control but Power is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. McMahon is thwarting Power's attempts to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McMahon is working for a kimura but Power is defending it quite comfortably.
Power desperately trying to maintain half guard. Power is looking to improve his position.
McMahon is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Power defends it well. McMahon looks gassed! Power is looking to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Power is looking to control McMahon's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Power avoid being mounted? Power slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. McMahon looking to pass the guard. McMahon would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Power is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Power tries to clinch up. McMahon tries to clinch and Power moves into the clinch. Power stalling against the cage.
Power fails to pull guard.
McMahon has had enough of the clinch but Power keeps him there for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. McMahon tries for a takedown but Power manages to get underhooks.
Power drops down looking for an ankle pick but McMahon pulls his leg out and moves away.
McMahon throws a combination that misses and Power counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Power fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. McMahon sprawls well initially but Power persists and gets the takedown into half guard. McMahon is looking to control Power's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can McMahon avoid being mounted? Power is looking for a kimura here.
Power seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Power stands up from half guard. McMahon tries for a takedown but Power circles away easily and Power holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Power jumps guard but McMahon stands there with Power around his waist. Power gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thomas Power. That's going to take a lot out of him. Power blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Power tries to pull guard but McMahon won't allow it.
Power has had enough of the clinch but McMahon keeps him there for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thomas Power dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
McMahon swats away the attempt to clinch by Power. Power fails to land with a series of punches.
McMahon with a lazy takedown attempt and McMahon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Excellent takedown into side control there by Power. Power decides to stand up, so the ref orders McMahon to his feet. Power closes the distance and clinches. Power pulls McMahon into guard.
Power pulls McMahon in close to prevent any damage. Power throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
McMahon working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Power's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. McMahon passes Power's left leg - he's now in half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. McMahon is nestled in close to Power, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Power is trying to maintain the position but McMahon is very close to passing his half guard. Power is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McMahon's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McMahon's back! Power is trying to control but McMahon is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
Power tries to control but McMahon wriggling away. McMahon is trying to get back to his feet but can't. McMahon is trying to escape the mount.
Power blocks McMahon's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Power is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, McMahon has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McMahon working to try and regain half guard.
McMahon wants to get back to his feet.
McMahon tries to get back to half guard but can't. Power is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. McMahon can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
McMahon taking shots to the head. McMahon is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Power locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! McMahon is forced to tap!
