Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Tigar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ray Guy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mirko Tigar! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guy moves into the clinch. Guy pulls guard successfully.
Tigar stays in close to Guy's body and controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tigar trying to control but Guy is working from the bottom. Guy looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Tigar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Guy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tigar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tigar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Guy trying to strike off his back.
Tigar wants to pass the guard but Guy is keeping the position. Guy looking for a sweep. Not yet Guy, not yet. Guy uses the cage to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tigar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Guy is looking to clinch. Guy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tigar tries to avoid it but Guy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tigar to the ground. Tigar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Tigar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Guy is looking to clinch but Tigar is avoiding it.

Tigar shoots in for a takedown but Guy shows good takedown defense. Tigar wants to clinch up but Guy keeps it at a distance. Tigar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Guy pinned against the cage. Guy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ray Guy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mirko Tigar. Guy throws a head kick that misses and Tigar counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Guy is breathing heavily. Tigar tries to pass the half guard into mount. Guy knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Guy is not content to let Tigar control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tigar passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Guy! Guy is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Guy could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Tigar controlling his opponent. Guy is trying to stand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tigar misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Tigar takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Guy is trying to escape the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tigar content just to control the position here. Tigar scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Guy?
Guy is looking to improve his position but Tigar isn't that keen on the idea. Tigar working for a submission but Guy is keeping him at bay. Guy really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Tigar controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Tigar scoring with strikes but Guy is staying in there. Tigar lands a nice shot to the head. Guy is trying desperately to improve position. Tigar controlling from the full mount. Tigar punching from mount but Guy doing a good job of avoiding damage. Tigar throws some wild stikes that Guy manages to avoid easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mirko Tigar dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Guy is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Tigar misses with a takedown and Guy counters by moving into the clinch. Tigar looking to slow down the pace here. Guy misses with the head strike.

Guy pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Tigar tries to pull guard but Guy holds him up against the cage and eventually Tigar drops back down to his feet.
Ray Guy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mirko Tigar. Guy tries to score a body lock takedown but Tigar shows good agility there to stay on his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tigar is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Tigar misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Guy.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tigar stops a takedown attempt from Guy.

Tigar tries to land knees in the clinch but Guy avoids the damage to the body. Tigar is trying to break the clinch but Guy has him pressed against the cage. Tigar wants to stall.
A looping hook to the body misses from Guy. Tigar does a little dance to reset his feet. Horrible takedown by Tigar or perhaps it was just good defense by Guy which made him look bad. Guy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A right-left combo lands from Tigar. Tigar shoots in for a double leg but Guy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Guy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Tigar fails to land the takedown. Tigar steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Guy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Tigar is looking to clinch. A good leg kick by Tigar. Tigar lands a jab-cross combination. Tigar moves into the clinch. Guy is trying to break free. Tigar drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Guy gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Guy tries to work over Tigar's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. A head punch on the inside from Guy fails to land. Guy on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Tigar fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Horrible takedown by Guy or perhaps it was just good defense by Tigar which made him look bad. Guy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Ray Guy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Tigar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Guy but Guy pushes him off and we're back to square one. Tigar tries to clinch but fails miserably and Guy counters by clinching up. Tigar tries to pull guard but Guy holds him up against the cage and eventually Tigar drops back down to his feet.
Tigar is looking to break free of the clinch but Guy has double underhooks. Tigar gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Guy.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Guy keeps control of Tigar as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Tigar goes for a takedown attempt but Guy pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Ray Guy dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Guy misses with a looping left. Tigar shoots in for a takedown but Guy shows good takedown defense. Guy tries to clinch but Tigar moves out of range. Tigar lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Guy misses with a wild combination.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Guy throws a sloppy head kick and Tigar counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Tigar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Guy takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Ray Guy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tigar moves in looking to clinch but Guy pushes him off. Guy tries to clinch but fails miserably and Tigar counters with an outside leg kick.

Tigar is working for takedown but Guy is calmly controlling the position for now. Ray Guy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mirko Tigar. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Guy as Tigar tries to tie him up. Tigar wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Guy has him pressed against the cage. A short left from Guy. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Tigar is trying to control the position but Guy postures up. Guy postures up in Tigar's guard and throws a big left but Tigar blocks it. Guy loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Tigar working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Guy.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tigar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Guy moves into the clinch. Tigar tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Guy tries for a takedown. No joy.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Guy is trying to stall.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ray Guy. I think Guy has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
