The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopson tries to score with a low kick but Brenda moves his leg out of the way.
Hopson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Brenda.
Hopson scores with a kick to the midsection.
A slapping leg kick lands for Hopson.
Brenda has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hopson.
Brenda takes a kick to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hopson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Hopson throws a nice head kick!
Hopson lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Hopson lands a big head kick that sends Brenda tumbling to the mat! Hopson takes a step backwards and waves Brenda back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Brenda is rocked!
Hopson lands a front kick.
Brenda shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hopson defends it nicely.
Hopson stuffs the takedown attempt from Brenda. Brenda gets slowly back to his feet.
Brenda takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

and Brenda counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Brenda.
Hopson gets underhooks to prevent Brenda's takedown attempt.
Jacob Hopson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Brenda.
Hopson comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Hopson throws a punch but it's blocked by Brenda.
Hopson connects with a nasty looking knee right to Brenda's face.

Whack! Hopson lands a heavy head kick that drops Brenda. The ref tackles Hopson to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Brenda was done.

A very excited looking Jacob Hopson rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
