PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Dinklage (ranked 607 p4p, 232 weight class) and Richard Feynman (ranked 93 p4p, 33 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Feynman looks to score with a jab to the body but Dinklage is just out of range.
A little feinted left hand from Dinklage on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Dinklage looks to land a right hand but Feynman moved out of range.

Dinklage has closed the distance and engaged Feynman in a clinch.
Feynman lands an elbow that stopped Dinklage in his tracks for a moment.

It looks like Dan Dinklage has been cut.
Dinklage tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Dinklage drops down looking for an ankle pick but Feynman pulls his leg out and moves away.
Dinklage closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Feynman sends Dinklage crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Feynman is motioning to the referee to let Dinklage up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Dinklage throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Feynman was covering up waiting for the punch and Dinklage finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Feynman thuds a left hand into Dinklage's body.
Feynman swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Dinklage shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Feynman counters with a nice body shot.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Dinklage. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Feynman leaves Dinklage with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Feynman scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dinklage doesn't seem bothered though.

That has opened up Richard Feynman's cut even more.
Dinklage shoots for a double leg takedown but Feynman sprawls well. He's pushed Dinklage's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Dinklage seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Feynman connects with a body shot.
Feynman cracks Dinklage on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Dinklage falls backwards against the cage. Feynman follows up with more strikes that drop Dinklage to his knees. Feynman keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Dinklage! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Richard Feynman thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
