Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antti Railio (ranked 464 p4p, 395 weight class) and Jani Honkanen (ranked 71 p4p, 65 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antti Railio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Jani Honkanen! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Railio throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Honkanen sees it coming and avoids it easily. Honkanen misses with a lunging right hand
and Honkanen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Jani Honkanen has been cut. Jani Honkanen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Railio takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Railio keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Honkanen. Nice uppercut lands for Honkanen. That snapped Railio's head back.
Railio steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Honkanen. Railio looks to land a left hand but Honkanen moved out of range nicely. Honkanen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Honkanen tries for a kimura but Railio is defending well. Honkanen goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Railio rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Honkanen's guard! Nice work there by Railio!
That's one minute gone in the round. Honkanen looking for subs off his back but Railio has passed one foot through into half guard.
Honkanen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Railio is working away from the top position though. Honkanen wants to control the action here but instead Railio manages to pass to full mount! Honkanen regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Honkanen manages to get to full guard.
Honkanen working for a triangle but Railio defends it easily.
Railio is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Honkanen has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Railio is looking to defend but Honkanen has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Railio! Honkanen pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Railio taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jani Honkanen!
