The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Enkhtulga closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Godoi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Enkhtulga was well out of range. Poor timing from Godoi.
And Enkhtulga responds with a good body kick, but Godoi manages to step out the way in time.

Enkhtulga cracks a nice hook into Godoi's ribs.
Enkhtulga throws an overhand right that lands on Godoi's shoulder, as Godoi tries to avoid the shot.
Enkhtulga scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Enkhtulga fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Godoi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Godoi throws a shot to the body.
Godoi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Enkhtulga tries to move into range but Godoi moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Enkhtulga lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Godoi at a distance.
Enkhtulga throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Godoi counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and Enkhtulga counters with a nice leg kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Enkhtulga scores with a kick to the midsection.
Godoi scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Godoi misses with a hook. Enkhtulga ducked under it nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Godoi stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
