Thibodeaux comes to the cage accompanied by Scotty x D4L. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thibodeaux swings for the body but Tarver moves out of range.
Thibodeaux definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Thibodeaux throws a hook but Tarver avoids it easily.

Thibodeaux got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tarver has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Thibodeaux has managed to get both his arms back between Tarver's legs - danger averted.

Tarver is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Thibodeaux defends well.

Thibodeaux is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Tarver has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Thibodeaux is looking to defend but Tarver has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Thibodeaux! Tarver pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Thibodeaux taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Antonio Tarver! Antonio Tarver retains his bantamweight title!
