Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kazuo Takashi (ranked 71 p4p, 328 weight class) and Ed Green (ranked 10 p4p, 43 weight class). Takashi comes into the arena with å‰ç”°å…„弟 Rising blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Kazuo Takashi!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ed Green!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takashi throws a hook but Green avoids it easily.
We've been hearing reports that Takashi has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Green fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Takashi takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Takashi tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Green manages to circle out of the way.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

I really don't envy Green right now.

Takashi is persistently looking for the submission but Green is defending it well.
You can see the frustration on Green's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Takashi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Green is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Green manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Takashi is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Green is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 5, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Kazuo Takashi!
