Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre Santiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Spackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santiago comes to the cage accompanied by Thru My Eyes-DMX. Harry Spackman has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Andre Santiago!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Harry Spackman!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Spackman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Spackman showed some decent athleticism there.
Santiago moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Santiago looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Spackman advances to half guard.

Spackman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Santiago is just riding it out for now. Spackman eventually gives up the hold.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Santiago makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Santiago.
Santiago tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Santiago bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Spackman's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Spackman is on top in guard.
Santiago doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Santiago is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Santiago will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Spackman wants to control from the top but Santiago keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Santiago bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Spackman's guard.

Santiago is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Santiago throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Spackman works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Santiago stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spackman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Santiago postures up and lands a big shot to Spackman's brow.
Santiago works over Spackman with some ground and pound from guard.
Spackman working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Santiago.
Spackman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Santiago manages to get himself to full guard.

Spackman drops back looking for a leg! Santiago is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Santiago manages to kick Spackman off! Spackman jumps back into Santiago's guard.
Spackman takes a decent strike to the side of the head.

Santiago manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Spackman manages to get himself to full guard.

Spackman is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Santiago postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Spackman has his foot on Santiago's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Santiago works his way back into a safe position though.
Spackman has momentary wrist control but Santiago slips an elbow through the middle.

Spackman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Spackman is trying to keep Santiago in close.

Santiago is sitting in close to Spackman's body. Spackman has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Santiago is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Santiago is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Spackman.
