Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Boy Walton (ranked 810 p4p, 533 weight class) and Douglas Sampson (ranked 40 p4p, 14 weight class). Sampson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sunshine (ft. Anthony Hamilton) - Twista kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walton has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sampson.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Sampson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Walton finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Sampson sends Walton crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Sampson is motioning to the referee to let Walton up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

A relieved looking Douglas Sampson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
