Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ispa Mfer (ranked 759 p4p, 1313 weight class) and Red Yabattoir (ranked 45 p4p, 70 weight class). Yabattoir has chosen Them A Big Chatter Box as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Ispa Mfer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Red Yabattoir! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mfer lands with a straight right. Yabattoir didn't see that one coming. Yabattoir cracks Mfer with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Jab, jab by Mfer - just one landing. Nice cross by Mfer. Yabattoir has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mfer finds it's way round the side to connect with Yabattoir's head. Mfer fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Yabattoir throws a hook but Mfer blocks it. The fighters circling - Yabattoir throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Mfer bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Mfer lands with an overhand left. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yabattoir connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mfer momentarily.
Yabattoir throws a lazy right hand but Mfer sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Yabattoir just misses with a punch to the body.
It looked like Mfer wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Yabattoir throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mfer on the side of the head. Yabattoir feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mfers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Yabattoir slips under a jab. Mfer looks to land a left hand but Yabattoir moved out of range nicely. Yabattoir throws out a counter right but Mfer avoids it with no problem. Mfer misses with a straight left.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yabattoir clinches up with Mfer and pushes him back against the cage. Yabattoir blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Yabattoir lands with a short shot to the head. Yabattoir misses with a punch on the inside.
Yabattoir lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Mfer or not. A short right from Mfer. Mfer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A swing and a miss from Mfer. Yabattoir's coach down at Chakuriki LA Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Yabattoir's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Yabattoir scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mfer in his tracks. Ispa Mfer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Yabattoir throws a body punch but Mfer moves out of range. We've been told by Mfer's head coaches at Räkälä that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Mfer fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Yabattoir ducks under a wild hook from Mfer. Mfer moves out of range of the strikes. Yabattoir has Mfer up against the cage in a clinch.
Yabattoir can't get the takedown.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yabattoir blocking some punches.
Yabattoir successfully pulls guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mfer stands up from Yabattoir's guard - Mfer perhaps looking for a knockout. Yabattoir moves away from the strike by Mfer. And Yabattoir tries to counter it with a takedown but Mfer pushes his down on his head and steps out. Nice uppercut there from Yabattoir. Mfer works over Yabattoir's head and body with a nice combination. Mfer loads up on a big right hand but Yabattoir slips the punch. Ispa Mfer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mfer misses the shot to the body. Mfer avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Decent striking displayed by Yabattoir there. Mfer misses with a hook. Yabattoir ducked under it nicely. Yabattoir fails in his attempt to clinch. Mfer jabbing away but nothing is landing. Yabattoir throws out a counter right but Mfer avoids it with no problem. A left and a right from Mfer both land. Nice combination. A punch lands to the side of Yabattoir 's head but he takes it in his stride. Yabattoir has a takedown stuffed. Mfer throws a quick inside leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yabattoir slips under a jab from Mfer. Mfer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Yabattoir blocks a leg kick. Yabattoir avoids the body shot from Mfer.
Yabattoir takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Mfer misses with an uppercut. Yabattoir saw that one coming. Yabattoir takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Mfer misses with a hook. Mfer works Yabattoir's body with a nice hook. Mfer slips under a jab. A jab from Mfer misses. Yabattoir swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Yabattoir looks to land a left hand but Mfer moved out of range nicely. Mfer turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mfer throws a body punch but Yabattoir moves out of range. Mfer scores with the left hand. Yabattoir knows he should have avoided that one. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mfer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yabattoir moves away. Yabattoir misses with a body shot.
Yabattoir drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Mfer cracks Yabattoir with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Mfer misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Yabattoir.
Yabattoir closes the distance and clinches. Mfer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Yabattoir checks a leg kick. Yabattoir unleashes a big counter combination but Mfer bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Mfer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Yabattoir lands with an overhand left. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nice defenses there by Mfer. A little feinted left hand from Mfer on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Mfer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mfer lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Yabattoir has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Yabattoir and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Yabattoir blocks a leg kick. Yabattoir changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ispa Mfer dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Yabattoir blocks the body kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Mfer misses the target. Yabattoir on the wrong end of a nice jab. Yabattoir might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Mfer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mfer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Yabattoir loads up on a big right hand but Mfer slips the punch. Mfer throws a big shot that misses. A jab from Mfer misses. Mfer scores with a head kick. Yabattoir tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Mfer takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Yabattoir walks forward, straight into a front kick from Mfer. A punch combination from Mfer misses. Yabattoir shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Yabattoir was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! This has been an exciting period of action! Mfer tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Yabattoir wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Yabattoir trying to control the position but Mfer is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Who's going to make the next move? Mfer is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Yabattoir can do to turn this around? Yabattoir is trying to get an arm triangle but Mfer is defending well. Yabattoir wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mfer, who protects the arm well. Yabattoir wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mfer keeps working. Mfer tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Yabattoir wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Yabattoir tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Yabattoir has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Yabattoir wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mfer keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Mfer gets back to half guard. Yabattoir wants to take a breather but Mfer is having none of it. Yabattoir seems to be working for a kimura but Mfer defends the submission attempt. Mfer moves into full guard.
Mfer is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Yabattoir is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yabattoir wants to control from the top but Mfer keeps moving. Mfer has his hands on Yabattoir's head, controlling the position. Mfer wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mfer has Yabattoir pulled in close to control his posture. Yabattoir stops Mfer from standing up. Yabattoir stays in close to Mfer's body and controls the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Mfer will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Yabattoir displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mfer throws out the jab. Mfer fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Yabattoir has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Yabattoir has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Yabattoir gets a takedown into half guard. Mfer kicks Yabattoir off and gets back to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Yabattoir blocks a jab. Mfer lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Some bone on bone action there as Yabattoir checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Yabattoir misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mfer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mfer swings for the body but Yabattoir moves out of range.
Mfer has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Mfer moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Yabattoir misses with an uppercut. Mfer scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Mfer moves into range and connects with a jab. The fighters circle momentarily. Mfer darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Yabattoir walks into a left hand. Mfer connects with a nice looking jab.
Yabattoir is rocked! Mfer cracks Yabattoir with a hook to the temple - Yabattoir is on wobbly legs here! Mfer swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Yabattoir falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Mfer wins by TKO!
