Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mick Dolan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshi Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dolan comes to the cage accompanied by Shipping Up to Boston. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mick Dolan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Yoshi Suzuki!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dolan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dolan scores with a three punch combo!

Suzuki shoots in and bounces Dolan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Suzuki preventing the sweep.
Dolan looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Suzuki working some strikes from top position.

Dolan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Suzuki trying to control the position from guard on top but Dolan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dolan holds on and takes a little breather.

Suzuki drops back looking for a leg! Dolan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dolan manages to kick Suzuki off! Suzuki jumps back into Dolan's guard.

Suzuki drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Suzuki jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Suzuki closes the distance and clinches up with Dolan, looking for a takedown. Suzuki pushes Dolan against the cage but Dolan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Dolan as Suzuki shoots in.
Dolan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dolan throws a series of punches but Suzuki moves out of range.
No joy there for Dolan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dolan stuffs the takedown.
Mick Dolan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yoshi Suzuki.
Suzuki avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dolan throws a series of punches but Suzuki avoids them all with ease.

Suzuki moves forwards but Dolan connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Dolan closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Dolan's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Dolan duly obliges.

Dolan cracks Suzuki with a good jab.
Dolan lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Suzuki closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dolan circles away.
Dolan misses with a double jab.
Suzuki fails with the takedown.
Dolan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Suzuki shoots in for a double leg but Dolan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Suzuki changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dolan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee asks Suzuki politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Suzuki prefers to stall for the moment though.

Dolan is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Suzuki's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Suzuki passes the guard and advances to mount!

Suzuki looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

That was a close round but I would say that Mick Dolan will probably get the nod.

Suzuki shoots in but Dolan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Suzuki misses with a takedown attempt - Dolan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Dolan stalks Suzuki and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Suzuki's face. Suzuki staggers backwards, shaken.
Suzuki on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Dolan throws a nice looking combination but Suzuki bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Suzuki fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mick Dolan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yoshi Suzuki.
Suzuki takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Dolan throws a right and a left that Suzuki avoids nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Suzuki looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dolan is fending him off so far but Suzuki persists. Nope, Dolan circles away and we're back to standing.

Dolan stuns Suzuki with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Suzuki shoots in but no luck this time.

Dolan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Suzuki.

Suzuki is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dolan defends it well.
Suzuki wants to free his trapped foot but Dolan is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Suzuki tries to control Dolan's body but Dolan pushes him off. Suzuki squirms to his side and now Dolan has his back!
Suzuki rolls, trying to escape but Dolan keeps control of the position.
Suzuki rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Suzuki wants to improve his position but Dolan is controlling well.
Suzuki is staying active underneath Dolan, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Suzuki won't allow Dolan to pass to mount.

Suzuki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dolan's waist but Dolan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Suzuki off to one side.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mick Dolan will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Suzuki tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Suzuki has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Suzuki swings around for an armbar but Dolan sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Suzuki's guard.

Suzuki is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Suzuki is on top in guard.

Suzuki slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Suzuki drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Suzuki seems to have locked his on tight now - Dolan screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Suzuki, as he picks up the win!
