Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Tridant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janis Priede (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Janis Priede is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tyson Tridant!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Janis Priede!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Priede scores with the left hand. Tridant knows he should have avoided that one.
Tridant scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Priede misses with a jab, cross combination.
Priede takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Tridant drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Priede is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Tridant has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Tridant stands up.

Priede darts in and clinches Tridant up against the cage.
Priede wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tridant has him pressed against the cage.
Priede wants to break free but Tridant has control.
A bit of stalling here from Tridant.

Priede can't break the clinch.
Priede is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Tridant gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Tridant stands up and waves to Priede to follow him.

Tridant feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Tridant wants to stand but Priede has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Priede is controlling Tridant's posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tridant wants to pass the guard but Priede is keeping the position.
Priede wants to sweep but no luck.

Tridant has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Tridant seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Priede for as long as he can get away with.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tridant gets caught flat footed, as Priede shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Priede decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Tridant catches Priede with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Tridant throws a series of punches but Priede moves out of range.

Tridant shoots in but no luck this time.
Priede fails with the takedown

and Tridant counters with a nice double leg into side control. Priede won't be happy with that.
Priede is breathing heavily.
Tridant trying to control the action but Priede is working from the bottom.

Tridant stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Tridant fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Tridant closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Priede is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Tridant has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Tridant decides to stand back up. Tridant steps back and let's Priede get back to his feet.
Priede throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Tridant gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Tridant pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Priede takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Priede walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Tridant scores with a takedown into Priede's guard.
Tridant is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Priede wants to stand but Tridant is controlling the position.

Tridant decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Priede, up you get!

Nice sprawl there from Priede as Tridant shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyson Tridant. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Tridant gets a takedown into half guard.
Tridant with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

No luck for Tridant with that takedown attempt.
Priede misses with a wild body shot.
Priede lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tridant circles away quickly and effectively.
Tridant connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Priede's hands.
Priede avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tridant tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Tridant changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Priede tries to avoid it but Tridant manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Priede to the ground. Priede escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tridant lunges at Priede with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Priede's hand.
Tridant moves out of range of the strikes.
Priede looks to land a left hand but Tridant moved out of range nicely.
Tridant closes this distance looking for a takedown but Priede circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyson Tridant. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A big left from Priede misses.
Tridant throws a nice looking combination but Priede bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Tridant shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Priede avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Tridant gets to his feet - Priede follows without any prompting.

Priede looks for the body kick but Tridant saw that one coming.
Priede throws a lazy right hand but Tridant sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Tridant moves forwards but Priede connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Tridant misses with a series of wild punches.
Tridant lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Priede cracks Tridant with a good jab.
Nice defenses there by Tridant.
Priede might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Tridant takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
