The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nuorempi takes a swing at Abarai's ribcage but misses.
Abarai looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nuorempi throws a right and a left that both miss.
Nuorempi lands a nice looking body shot.
Nuorempi throws a jab but it's blocked by Abarai.

Nuorempi looking to score a takedown here. Abarai is defending well but Nuorempi drives through and ends up in Abarai's guard.

Nuorempi drops back looking for a leg! Abarai is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Abarai manages to kick Nuorempi off! Nuorempi jumps back into Abarai's guard.

Nuorempi working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Abarai turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Nuorempi off and cradles Abarai's limp body as Nuorempi celebrates with his corner.

A relieved looking Suutari Nuorempi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
