Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Arturo Caldeira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard John Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Bruno Lombardi and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caldeira throws out a powerful jab.
Salvacion shoots in and bounces Caldeira off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Salvacion being controlled here momentarily.
Caldeira bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Salvacion's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Caldeira working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Salvacion's head.
Caldeira with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Caldeira throwing strikes but missing.
Caldeira has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Caldeira is in close to Salvacion's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Caldeira is pushing down on Salvacion's leg trying to pass to half guard. Salvacion is fighting to maintain full guard but Caldeira has managed to sneak the leg through.
Caldeira moves nicely into side control.

Salvacion is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Caldeira connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Salvacion some visible discomfort.
Salvacion is letting Caldeira control him for a moment.
Caldeira in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Caldeira has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Salvacion is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Caldeira yanks on the arm and Salvacion is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Caldeira.
